Since the Amish do not use electricity, radios, stereos or television sets in their homes, some people are amazed to find that they build furniture to hold electronic equipment. One soon comes to respect that most Amish do not proselytize and that although they choose to live a life without these conveniences, it does not mean they expect the rest of the world to do likewise.
That’s good news for our customers who like the high quality Amish craftsmanship and the choice of woods and stains. Of course there is a time lag between the release of new technology and when any manufacturer adapts their lineup. With the Amish this time lag is perhaps a year longer. However, we are now seeing some really fine Amish-crafted entertainment centers on the market.
