BENT DOWEL CHAIR: The hoopback solid oak chair has fine oak spindles and is a starting price point for the Amish-made chairs. Notice that the spindles have a lumbar curve in them. Item No. 1000 Size 17x17x39.
Amish Chairs: Our Amish chairs are available as either side chairs (without arms) or arm chairs (with arms). Our Amish furniture can be stained in a variety of colors. All stains, which serve only to color the wood, are protected with several coats of clear satin lacquer. The most popular finish is golden oak. Probably 90% of our furniture is sold in the golden stain. Many Amish chairs are available in cherry wood: some are available in hickory or maple wood as well.
