House of Oak & Sofas now features over 50,000 fabric swatches in their design center. We welcome homeowners and designers to use our design center to choose fabrics for their homes or their customers. In addition you will find window treatment resources to assist in coordinating fabric selections with window decor. The following is a list of our major fabric suppliers. Ready-Made Draperies

Check out our Ready-Made Draperies. We recently found an excellent source for ready-made drapes that we are now offering at House of Oak & Sofas. By buying ready-made the cost savings are substantial when compared to custom made. The draperies do need to be ordered as they come in 84, 96 and 108 inch lengths, and some can be ordered with or without lining or interlining. Prices start at $50 per panel. Stop in soon and run your hand over these beautiful silks, taffetas and linens.

Re-upholstery Work

For one reason or another you may decide to recover an existing piece of furniture. Some of the best reasons to recover are that the piece is a family heirloom, it fits you just right, or the frame is incredibly solid. It is usually not advisable to recover pieces that have a lot of structural problems unless you understand that it could easily cost more than a new piece. Of course if the furniture has strong sentimental value, then we understand your choosing to re-cover.

House of Oak & Sofas provides professional reupholstering work that ranges from simple to complex work. The services we provide are:

Recovering or refabricating of cushions for indoor or outdoor sofas, chairs and loveseat.
Complete recovering of sofas, chairs, recliners and loveseats.
Chair seat recovering (and recushioning if needed)
Recovering or refabricating of cornices
New cornice construction

To get a custom quote you can e-mail your pictures or bring them to the store. We need good clear pictures of front, back and sides of the piece to give you the best, most reliable estimate. Final adjustments may be made once we see the actual piece of furniture but usually the original quote will hold. Quote will not include pickup and delivery unless you request that be included. We can use your fabric or ours. We give a discount on upholstery work when you also purchase the fabric from House of Oak & Sofas.
