SIDE CHAIR: The mates chair is an old standby from the Amish
chair collection. Reminiscent of casual pub dining styles, the mates
chair presents a sturdy yet understated, and slightly retro, feel to the
decor. The mates chair takes its design from
the classic poker players chair with its smooth barrel shaped back and "handhold"
at the top. Great where a low profile chair is needed. Size 17x17x33
Amish Chairs: Our Amish chairs are available as either side chairs (without arms) or arm chairs (with arms). Our Amish furniture can be stained in a variety of colors. All stains, which serve only to color the wood, are protected with several coats of clear satin lacquer. The most popular finish is golden oak. Probably 90% of our furniture is sold in the golden stain. Many Amish chairs are available in cherry wood: some are available in hickory or maple wood as well.
