Amish Chair - Pressback Chair
PRESSBACK CHAIR: The Pressback Amish chair is another old standby that has maintained its popularity for us over the past 25 years. Although often copied, I have yet to see a pressback chair that has the over-built features of this chair. With its classic 19th Century pressback design, this chair is a good choice for a formal or Victorian application.
This classic solid oak pressback chair is one of the heaviest chairs that we sell. Notice the size of the legs and you can see why the chair weighs in with the heavy weights. The pressed back design is over a hundred years old. Size 21x17x39.
