During our early years, we specialized in Amish-crafted solid oak furniture made in Holmes County, Ohio. Now that we have a 37,000 square foot showroom, we offer a broad selection of furniture from a dozen different countries in order to maintain the eclectic collection our customers have come to expect. The Design Center
The House of Oak & Sofas Design Center gives our furniture store another way to assist you in room planning, choosing paint colors, and selecting furniture, accessories, rugs and window treatments. The Living Room or Family Room
Although many homes have both, yesterday's "living room," the room where people did most of their living, including visiting, snacking and watching TV, has been replaced in most homes by the family room. All spindles are custom fit and driven together with mallets so the chairs will stay tight. Most of the furniture comes from Holmes County, Ohio where the world's largest settlement of Amish live.
