Incredible customer service. Reasonable prices and quality furniture. Unexpectedly, they threw in some free pillows with the purchase, which was appreciated. I ordered a sofa, and since they sell off-the-floor, they let me know they could deliver it to me fairly quickly at a reasonable price. An upcoming heavy snow storm on the agreed delivery date meant on-time delivery was obviously jeopardized. When I received a call from them, I expected to be told they'd be late, but instead, they offered to deliver it early. That's what it means to surprise and delight the customer. Adam W.

We were planning to move to a new house and had decided to replace some of our furniture at the same time. We meet with both Merle and Bill who first listened to what was important to us then showed us furniture and rugs to use in our new house. Their recommendations were spot on. Looks are deceiving with this furniture store!! I have passed House of Oak and Sofa countless times over the years and never stopped in until yesterday. From the moment I walked in the door, I was surprised and impressed. I was immediately greeted by Bill, and directed to dozens of ALL WOOD TV stands that I was looking for. He offered to answer questions, but also let me wander and just browse the store. The place is huge and packed with beautiful, well made furniture including many amazing and gorgeous Amish pieces. After much deliberation over window treatments, we decided to go with the plantation shutters and we couldn't be happier. So pleased with our decision to go with House of Oak and Sofa. The installation went flawlessly and they took care to cover the floors while working. We decided to go with separate shutter levers so we could adjust the upper and lower louvers separately. This allows us to let light in through the top, while retaining more privacy at the bottom. They have added such a distinctive look to our house, both inside and out. Barbara Paul
